What are these candles & wax melts made of?

Our candles and wax melts are a beeswax and coconut wax blend, for a high quality and longer lasting burn time. We utilize both fragrance and essential oils in our scent profiles, inclusions of crystals and herbs to enhance the potency of the candles for intention setting and altar work and in some cases, dyes for furthering symbolism in your rituals. 

Are these candles considered non-toxic and vegan friendly? 

Our candles are made with a beeswax and coconut wax blend — two of the most natural, clean-burning waxes available. They are free from paraffin and synthetic additives. Please note that because they contain beeswax, they are not vegan. If you follow a vegan practice, we want you to know this upfront so you can make the right choice for your path. We work to source our beeswax from local apiaries that focus on conservation efforts and are committed to reduced harm practices when raising bees. 

What makes these candles worth the price you charge?

Our goal is to ensure people of all backgrounds and income can afford a dose of magic in their life with our products; however, we must also ensure costs of the time and goods it takes to create these candles and maintain our online presence are covered. 

Our candles are all made at an altar practice, meaning we smoke cleanse each and every container with an herb that aligns with the intention and purpose of the candle. We hand-select crystals, herbs and painstakingly design these with care as a one-person production line in small batches to ensure the highest frequency candle magic we can provide. We are working to build options for smaller containers for increased affordability and alternative payment options as we grow. 

How do I use these candles & products? What if I do it “wrong”?

If you are not deep into practice or not wishing to be involved at that level, in that way, never fear - all are welcome here! There is no “wrong” way to bring this magic into your life. These candles are full of potential, but your will and intentions truly drive the outcomes. You are welcome to light them whenever, wherever- for the magic or just because they make you feel whimsical. We are not here to judge! There are a few candles that will include ritual guidance if you are interested, never hesitate to contact us with questions. 

The crystals or inclusions in the candle don't resonate with me - do you take custom requests?

We understand our designs may not resonate with everyone, all pantheons or all practices. Reach out to us via the contact form with your request or questions and we will help build an altar candle that meets your needs. Cost will be dependent on size, materials and time. 

What are bath teas?

Bath teas are not for those seeking a light or artificial scent profile as these are made with healing and aromatherapy in mind. We use organically sourced herbs and craft blends that steep in hot water, creating a literal tea in your bath and allowing your skin and senses to reap all the benefits of nature's medicines. Please pay close attention to ingredients and allergen warnings and contact us via our contact form with questions or concerns before purchasing - we are happy to partner with you to find the best blend.
