Ashwake

The veil is thinnest here.

Ashwake is poured for the turning point of the Wheel, Samhain, the night the boundary between worlds is thin, and something ancient stands watch at the threshold. Honoring tradition with a deep black wax color, scented with spices, smoke, and mulled apple cider, a hint of funeral violets, this candle is built to mark the transition into the darkest days of the year.

Red Agate — grounding, courage, and protection, historically carried as a protective amulet during times of vulnerability or travel between states.
Bloodstone — a stone of solar vitality as we enter the darkest days of the year, warding and protecting the living's life force
Snowflake Obsidian — used for grounding through transition, shadow work, and ancestor/spirit connection.
Yarrow — protection and courage while walking in the unknown
Calendula — an ancient solar sacred flower associated with protecting dead souls on their journey and honoring those lost
Mugwort — sacred insight and divination, clarity when the veil is thin
